Viaje a Bélgica - Trip to Belgium

Sometimes we forget how lucky we are. Lucky for being healthy, having a family, friends, a job and somebody to love. What else do we need? We are too influenced by daily routine, by our habits, by the lack of time and time passes without being aware of the nice things which surround us. What is more, a grey shadow invades our smile and the nice thing of things pass unnoticed. At least, it is what sometimes happens to me.
I must confess that I have a husband who makes whatever he can to make me happy. I'm very lucky. We have been on holiday the whole last week, so he had prepared a surprise for me: a trip to Belgium. Going for a walk through the streets in Brussels, Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent the optimistic version of myself has came back. Hubbub, chocolate, Christmas market, lights, warm wine, caroussels, paving stone, monuments, photos ... just what I needed.
Today's plan: to decorate our Christmas tree, going for a walk through the city center and seeing the Christmas lights. When you feel good, you don't need anything else.

I present you today "Hope", I hope you like her as much as I do. It is even prettier when you see her directly. One day I received an order made for a person who wanted a green+brown Princess to combine her with a dark green coat. When I finished it, I noticed that the Princess was too bright for that person, so I decided to keep her for my personal use and to make a new design. She wears a skirt made of bright green felt and white tulle. I used Swarosky glass for the waist and a metallic gold bag. The headdress is made of white goose feathers, and felt. I love the orange detail.
